Wheatstone LNG

The Chevron Australia Wheatstone Project comprises two LNG trains with a combined capacity of 8.9mtpa plus a 200 terajoule per day domestic gas plant. The Project facilities are located 12 kilometres west of Onslow on the Pilbara coast of Western Australia. The Chevron-operated Wheatstone Project achieved first LNG production and shipped its first cargo in October 2017.

Axis Hire is a major supplier of equipment to the General Services and Maintenance Contractor. The fleet ranges from specialist build Vacuum Trucks, Water Tankers, Support and Service Trucks as well as civil construction fleet including Skid Steer units to Wheel Loaders of varying capacity.
